Bio

My name is Nic ~ Officially, it's Nickie... but *really* officially, it's Nicole.

I've been journaling for a LOOOOOONG time and have found that journaling to readers makes it a little more interesting. Almost every entry is saved onto a Word document and put away so that I will have a keepsake for my children one day. I have hundreds of pages of rambling that started way before my first was even a *sparkle* in my eyes... I can't wait to have it all printed and hardbound one day.

My husband, Chris, and I were married on September 28, 2002. We went on an enchanting (belated) honeymoon to the UK, Ireland, and Wales on April 29, 2003. While in England, we found out that we were expecting! Everything was timed perfectly!! We brought home our little "souvenir" and coursed through the following 9 months without any problems. I loved being pregnant with her - it was the most magical and "new territory" time of my life. On January 8, 2004, I delivered Sophia without any medications at 4:10pm. She was a healthy 6 pounds and 10 ounces and 19.5 inches. She was born with the prettiest *RED* hair and blue eyes and neither have changed. She gets comments every time we leave the house about how people love her red hair. Chris and I always joked about having a red-headed or bald baby... Guess we got one!

On August 29, 2005, we found out that we were pregnant with our second bundle of joy! Bryce was welcomed into our family at 6:55am on May 2, 2006 at a healthy 7 pounds and 8 ounces and 19.5 inches. His labor was much faster and a little easier considering I had an epidural. Unlike his big sister who was born with tons of red hair, he was born with a teeny bit of the cutest blonde-red fuzz. Since then, it has turned red, but just a smidge lighter than his sister's.

The two of them are like peas and carrots - they just "fit" together. I'm getting to experience what it's like to live in a household with siblings, as I am an only child.

This is it - the Jeans' family is complete.

I couldn't be happier with these three wonderful people in my life - Chris, Sophie, and Bryce.

And, finally...

Like peas in a pod...
